Lars Sudmann (*1976) is a professional speaker and business leader. His passion is communication and public speaking. His first appearance on German Television was when he was 9 years old...and it was a disaster... Since then, Lars has worked to hone communication and especially Public Speaking. He is the 5-times Belgian Champion of Public Speaking with Toastmasters International and has been working with leading global organizations on state-of-the-art communication skills. Lars has a university education in business administration (Aachen University of Technology) and social sciences and psychology (Hamburg University) and lives in Grimbergen, Belgium. Recently, Lars is focusing all of his research and entrepreneurial focus on the virtual world and on how to make virtual communication and presentations a truly exciting and 'human' experience. His presentation will go into the 'how' of virtual presentations. The technology is there, but how do you make it work to have inspiring virtual presentations? If people think Public Speaking is difficult, current Virtual Speaking is even more challenging! In thespirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
